Overview

A longish walk from Bridges starting with a steep ascent onto Adstone Hill.   Great views of the Long Mynd. We then follow the ridge to Wentnor we follow paths and quiet lanes to Norbury, before ascending to Linley Beeches. We then follow the Shropshire Way descending to Kinnerton. We ford a stream then follow paths back to Bridges.

When doing the recce the ground was very wet with quite a lot of mud. It is necessary to ford a stream at one point. Usually this is very shallow but after heavy rain it as about  5 inches deep so waterproof boots will be needed. Poles are recommended.

Please car share and park considerately at the far end of the carpark.
