We are the Shrewsbury Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A pleasant walk crossing the marshland boardwalk, then up and through Allens and Rectory woods into Carding Mill Valley where we will have our coffee stop.
Uphill to a pathway bordering the golf course, along the pathway, across fields to the Madeira walk. Back by field paths and roads to the start of the walk .
There are a number of gradual short ascents and descents but non to strenuous.
The gardens near the end of the walk offers the perfect spot for a picnic weather permitting, or refreshments in Church Stretton making your own way back to the start.
