A special Thursday walk to welcome in the New Year. From Hay-on-Wye main car park we will steadily climb through farmland and tracks pausing to view the ancient Neolithic dolmen near Penyrwrlodd and for a coffee break aside the peaceful Cilonw Brook. The walk then continues up the valley of the delightful Digedi Brook emerging onto open moorland to take the Three Rivers Ride path and lunch at Ffynnon Beacon. Stunning views into Wales and along the eastern Black Mountains are on offer, naturally weather dependent though. The descent back to Hay-on-Wye will probably be muddy and somewhat challenging in places, but well worth it.
Please contact Keith by text message on 07824 844349 to book a place.
Please bring a packed lunch and sorry no dogs.
For those wishing to car share, we will be leaving Wilton Road Car Park, Ross-on-Wye at 08.10am
