Moderate to brisk-paced 10.5 mile circular walk over undulating terrain through the Chilterns with some excellent views, and with one uphill to Amersham Station at the end of walk.
Route: the first of the five villages is Coleshill, the second is Winchmore Hill, followed by Penn Street, where there will be a 45 minutes picnic lunch with an option for a drink in the local pub. After lunch the walk goes through Penn Wood to Little Missenden, then along the South Bucks Way foIlowing the River Misbourne to Amersham Old Town and thence to Amersham Station at Amersham on the Hill.
