Weekly walks all year round, highly regarded footpath maintenance work and a great way to make new friends – three good reasons to join Hexham Ramblers!
A ramble north of Hexham, taking in Anick, Sandhoe, Mount Pleasant, Fawcett Hill Cottage and Portgate on the way up to Hadrian's Wall. From the wall, we head west along the national trail past Heavenfield to Turret 25B and Mould's Close. We then follow the Pennine Journey south through Fallowfield and Acomb and return to Hexham via The Riding. A mix of paths, tracks and some minor roads. Weather permitting, we should have good views and - with any luck - some early signs of spring.

Meet at the boat house in Tyne Green Country Park (near Hexham bridge). Free all day parking is available on Tyne Green.
