We explore some of the paths on Penyard Hill, a mix of pleasant woodland paths and tracks and some lovely open meadow views. Some ups and downs but nothing extreme, a small amount of tricky terrain, some muddy paths if there's a lot of rain before, and a couple of stiles. Poles could be helpful (for the mud).

The no. 33 bus stops on the A40 in Weston-under-Penyard, but apparently the timetable is currently unreliable.
Weston under Penyard church car park. From Ross take the A40 through Weston under Penyard. After the mini roundabout take the first right – School Lane – and at the sign "Church car park" turn right again. Park on the grass on the right.
