This is the last in my series of walks commemorating the publication in 2012 of the Arrow Valley Trail booklet. The Trail was devised and written by members of Mortimer Ramblers with all profits from its sale donated to St Michael’s Hospice. A launch party for the booklet was held in Eardisland on the banks of the River Arrow.
The walk joins the Trail at Ivington Common and then follows the path of the river back to the outskirts of Leominster, where the Arrow joins the River Lugg. There are views of the river from 4 different bridges made of metal, brick, stone and concrete.
Optional lunch and perhaps a celebratory drink at Newton Court after the walk. If you are staying for lunch, please arrive by 9.45 to place your order.
