We are the Mortimer Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An easily paced meander cutting through the golf course on our way towards Downwood and Belgate Farms, returning via Uphampton, Shobdon Arches and the Church.
No steep climbs and only one stile. Quiet cattle in one field during recce. We will set off from outside the café at 10am. Please arrive anytime between 9am and 10am for optional pre-walk refreshments and to pre-order your lunch if you so wish.
Car sharing is encouraged to minimise car parking, fuel cost and carbon footprint.
Assistance dogs only.
There is no need to book a place on this walk.
Please bring a mid-morning snack if required.
Meg’s, The Hotspur Café, Shobdon Airfield. Park in the large overspill carpark (turn left before hitting the runway) at the far end, near the café.
