Snowdonia National Park.Circular walk starting at the little village of Croesor, to ascend the long ridge of Cnicht, with its distinct conical shape, and a short avoidable scramble near the summit. You will be rewarded with some of the finest 360 degree panoramic views of Eryi (Snowdonia) and the Welsh coastline. The descent is by the Bwlch y Rosydd Quarry and Llyn Coresor before joining the Slate Trail to return to Croesor village. Steep ascent and some rough track 1890 feet (576 metres) total ascent. Lots of geological interest. There is Caffi Brondanw on the way back which should be open for refreshments on Sunday afternoon.
