We are the Shrewsbury Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk from Aston on Clun Village Hall, walking up to Beeches Hollow and Round Oak, finishing over Hopesay Hill and back to Aston on Clun. The walk includes sections of the Shropshire Way and the Heart of Wales Line trail. This is a varied walk with a couple of steep inclines through some wooded areas, on paths and some short sections of quiet road and tracks. Views on a good day will be spectacular!
Parking is to the rear of Aston Village Hall, drive through two gates and park in the field on the right, around the edge and avoiding the apple trees please. There is a well stocked community shop in front of the Village Hall where provisions for the walk ( and after) can be bought. The carpark adjacent to the shop should be preserved for their customers and groups who use the village hall please.
Car sharing from Meole Brace is recommended where possible. VTC £6
