Overview

A linear walk along the Trent river via public footpaths in Attenborough Nature Reserve, along the river Trent to Trent Lock and back to Tamworth road Long Eaton using the canal towpath to catch bus to starting point.

Starting point is the Meadow lane railway crossing found near the Meadow Lane / Long Lane  road bend.

Will NOT be stopping at the Nature Centre.

Toilet available at Trent Lock but public toilet appears to be closed. Dinner stop at Trent Lock

Suggest cars park on Meadow Lane before Barkers Lane.

Bring your bus pass if you have one.
