Overview

Starting from Lower Hartshay carefully cross the A610 and using field paths arrive at rebellious Pentrich. Across fields and over the railway line before crossing again the A610 at Sawmills.

Ascend to Heage with good views of its historic windmill.

Walking thro the village and return to cars through Upper Hartshay using field paths.
