For this walk we’ve got a couple of stiff climbs, one up and one steep descent.
We’ve done much of this walk before but it’s still worth it hopefully for panoramic views, we had limited views and some mud for the recce but still enjoyed.
We start from Firle and up on to the South Downs Way descending to the edge of Alfriston and making our way back via Winton, Berwick, Alciston and along the undulating Coach Road. We know these are interesting, historic villages.
