This walk will take us from Fernwood to Balderton and around the newly signed trail. We will stop at the green on Mead Way for refreshment break, then follow the remainder of the trail and back to Fernwood. Picnic lunch can be eaten on the Fernwood village green or have a drink/lunch at Brews Bros.
NOTE THE START TIME OF 10.15am. This is to suit the bus from Newark. The No 90 9.50am from Newark ( picks up in Bingham, Farndon a bit earlier) arrives at 10.02am and it is a very short walk down the path to the Village Hall. There are several options for the return journey depending on timing but there should not be a long wait.
