Overview

A shorter winter walk with four short climbs and descents. Starting in Batch Valley we do a figure of eight up Cwmdale then down to Madeira Walk before walking up to the war memorial in Church Stretton then down to Cardingmill Valley. Here we can have a coffee stop and comfort break at the cafe before returning via the golf course and one of the best views in Shropshire. Generally good stoney tracks and some town pavements.
