Starting from Rectory Wood Carpark park, this Long Mynd walk that takes us up past Callow and Round Hill before reaching the summit of Pole Bank where on a clear day you are rewarded with a 360 degree view of the wonderful Shropshire Hills. We then descend passing Long Synalds and down Town Brook and through Rectory Wood.
The overall grading of the walk is Moderate, however, as you would expect with the Long Mynd there are a few sections that are a little steep, particularly near the start.
As an added bonus the Long Mynd is generally relatively low on mud levels, so you never know you may get away without cleaning your boots afterwards. Fingers crossed!
