Follow a well marked path to the summit which climbs steeply up, firstly through woods and then open hillside with splendid views. Return on an indistinct and sometimes boggy path which runs north from the summit and then west down to the tarmac path alongside Loch Katrine. Continue to the pier and then join the minor road and return to the start point at Loch Achray.
