We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Hi all! Join us for a circular 9.5 mile walk starting at Berwick station. We'll walk round the reservoir and on to Bramble Grove Wood before reaching Abbots Wood where we will have a picnic lunch stop at c.5 miles (bring picnic! No shops!)
Toilets at c.1 mile and 6 miles. Back to Berwick station for the 15.57 train arrives Brighton 16.25pm. Option for a post walk drink at the Berwick Inn opposite the station.
Accessible by public transport. The train leaves Brighton 9:58am and arrives 10:23am (note only one train per hour). The walk starts from Berwick Station car park after the train arrives. Station car park costs £2.70
The pace is moderate- c. 2.5 miles an hour. Descriptions of difficulty levels are here but if you have any queries or concerns do give me a call :)

If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
