Overview

From the start we cross several fields to access the Tissington Trail. We follow the trail for about one mile before turning off and following the path from Lees Barn to descend into Wolfscote Dale.

We follow the Dale northwards for about 1.5 miles to the point where Wolfscote Dale joins with Beresford Dale. We then take a track on the right which climbs out of the Dale before joining a tarmac lane. We cross Reynards Lane and descend to Highfield Lane to Dale Dale End. We follow the road towards Biggin before taking the 2nd path on the right which takes us over field paths to the road where we turn left, then left again at the T junction to take us back to the cars.

Please make sure you have an ICE (in Case of Emergency) card on you when out walking – you know it makes sense - if you don’t have one then ask the walk leader for one before the walk starts.
