Birk Brow

Take the path at the side of the Birk Brow road and  walk down to Charltons (Use caution crossing the A171).  Here join the Cleveland Way through Spa Wood into Guisborough Woods to GR NZ629145. Here turn south on track and at track junction turn left (east) to track/bridleway junction at GR NZ634143 - at this point turn south east and follow bridleway to junction with Quakers Causeway. Here take the bridleway heading north back to the car park (crossing the A171 with caution). Some of the footpaths are very muddy and there are areas where it is very wet (waterproof boots a must!).Map OL26. Assistance dogs only.
