This undulating walk begins in pretty Oxfordshire village of Blewbury, where we start by heading up towards the Ridgeway passing Whiteshoot stables and Lower Chance farm, crossing Gallops on our way up. We continue along the Ridgeway, where if given good weather, we should have some fab views over the downs. Passing the memorial, we now head downwards to the village of Chilton, leaving alongside the old dismantled railway line to Upton, where we join the national cycle track, again on the old Didcot rail line but now raised high and with seats and poetry. Leaving this lovely path, we use the bridleway towards east Hagbourne but turning off to reach Blewbury, for a wander round the village before returning to the cars.
