Overview

We will start the walk at Llanfoist and walk steeply uphill under the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal through Glebe Wood. On leaving the woods we will follow the contour line to the lovely pond at the Punchbowl. We will have two further steep ascents, then a gentle incline to arrive at the summit of Blorenge. Leaving the summit we will descend and follow the Cambrian Way to the outskirts of Blaenavon. We will ascend gently from Blaenavon back onto Blorenge and make our way back to Llanfoist enjoying spectacular views, weather permitting.
