We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Bollington to Charles Head circular, medium walk of approx. 9ml & 1000ft of ascent.
Meet 10am at Adlington Rd. Bollington free car park (as of 20/11/25 with toilets)
The route follows Hedge Row up to Further Harrop Farm and up onto the summit of Charles Head using the permissive path. We stay on the ridge to Bank Lane, following route down towards Rainow, onto Oakenbank and back to the car park.
Some tricky stiles to climb over, mix of muddy fields and rocky paths. Livestock in some fields so no dogs please.
Bring food/drink for coffee/lunch stops.
