Overview

A moderate circular walk from Widboarclough with some gentle climbs
8 miles, 1500ft ascent
Start 10am at Clough House car park SK11 0BD. Parking charges are now payable.
Ascend to Standing Stones then head towards Shutlingsloe via the outskirts of Macclesfield Forest. We then descend to the road in Wildboarclough before going up through the village and on to Three Shires Head. We walk upstream and then uphill to cross the A54 eventually reaching Cumberland Brook by which we descend back to the car park
