Overview

Approx 5.5 miles, moderate 'plus' at times, no stiles and very little mud with splendid views throughout.

Route: Macc. Forest with steady ascent along woodland paths to Standing Stone.
Road walking to Forest Chapel and down Toot Hill as far as fairly steep  forest path leading  to Trentabank and Visitor Centre. Continue back to cars - but please note......!

Parking:  Please park in designated areas alongside Ridgegate Reservoir - don't risk a fine!

However, the Landlord has given permission to park in his pub car park IF you intend joining us for lunch or a pint after the walk.
