A walk up the picturesque valley of the Keir Burn and then along a hill track to the Cromlet (407 m), which provides fine all-round views of the surrounding hills and across Strathallan to the Ochils. From Cromlet, we will return to Braco via the grounds of Braco Castle and the valley of the River Knaik. Before leaving Braco, we shall spend some time exploring the impressive earthworks of the Roman Fort and camps that lie on the north side of the village. The route is mainly on estate and hill tracks, with some pathless sections across rough, tussocky ground. The riverside paths can be uneven in places. Gradients are typically moderate with occasional short, steep sections. Total ascent is 361 m.
