This walk takes us from the historic Breamore House to the ancient earthworks of Castle Ditches at Whitsbury before descending to the pretty village of Rockbourne with its 14th Century farm buildings. There are good downland views from the higher sections of the walk and the paths are generally good apart from some rough and muddy stretches so good walking boots are recommended. There are 6 stiles. Parking is limited at the start point so please car-share wherever possible. Bring a packed lunch and please advise the walk leader if you intend to come on this walk.
Meet in the Romsey Rapids CP at the rear by the fence with the Romsey Town FC.
Parking is in the Pantry Barn Cafe CP near Breamore House. Parking is limited and mainly provided to serve the Cafe so please car-share wherever possible.
