Meet for a 10.30am start at the car park on Slanting Hill (beware of the pot holes), or park on Slanting Hill. The car park is at the top end of Slanting Hill, the Hermitage Road end.
A mix of woodland and country side. The walk takes us down to Grimsbury Castle Hill Fort where we will go through fence wood to follow bridleways and footpaths round Boar's Hole Farm, down to Marlston Road and back up through Bucklebury, where we will stop in the woods for a lunch stop and carry on to Cold Ash where there is the option of a pub stop near the end of the walk. Hopefully we will see the Bluebells out if we have timed it right.
Depending on the weather, it may be muddy.
Please bring a packed lunch and drink as usual.
