Overview

We follow a track to start with, crossing under the railway as we go. Eventually we leave the track and ascend to the ridge crossing Sron Garbh en route to An Caisteal. We then drop to Beallach Bhuide and then ascend Beinn a' Chroin. Thereafter there is a choice to either return by the same route or (this would be the first preference) continue to the East Top and descend the ridge in a north westerly direction, crossing a boggy section but eventually finding a track for the walk out. We will be following these options as described in the SMC book. Back in Linlithgow by 6pm.
