Our group offers walks which are accessible by public transport and take place throughout the South East of England plus a summer holiday and a New Year break
Linear to Greenwich Station led by Pauline L (Mobile No: 07976 953355) joint with London Blind Ramblers. A mainly level walk. We will walk through Milwall Park and along the Thames Path to Island Gardens Park and take the Greenwich Foot Tunnel which emerges near the ‘Cutty Sark’. Lunch will be in the ‘Undercroft Café’ in the Royal Naval College or a picnic using benches nearby. In the afternoon we will walk in Greenwich Park and on reaching the Rangers House take a route down Crooms Hill to end the walk at Greenwich Station. Map: E162, London A-Z
Everyone is welcome on the walk, but we especially need sighted guides able to assist our blind and partially-sighted friends. No previous experience is needed. Use Oyster/contactless/Freedom Pass. There will be time to visit the toilets in Jubilee Place Mall before a prompt start at 11:00am
