Overview

Terrain is undulating with 18 stiles but no major hills.  Walk is on a mixture of footpaths, bridleways and quiet lanes.  There is one short section (0.3 miles) along a minor road.  Lunch at Silkstone church after 4 miles. Please bring food and drink.

There are no public toilets on the route, however:

a) We walk past Pot House cafe straight after lunch so an opportunity to buy an ice cream (and perhaps sneak into the loos).

b) Just before the end of the walk it is possible to walk an additional 1.2 miles to the toilets in Cannon Hall car park.
