Overview

Starting at Clearwell Caves the route touches Clearwell village before working its way via fields and lanes to Newland. Thereafter the route returns to Coleford and the Ribena Factory and so to the start point. This walk has a number of short but quite steep inclines and descents. A mixture of lanes, fields and woods. If it remains wet some lanes will be muddy and slippery so bring poles if you have them. Cannot comment on views as recce done in the fog.
