We are the Newark Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join us on this circular walk through Bestwood Country Park down to Mill Lakes and back. Starting from the main car park we walk past the former hunting lodge ( now hotel), mostly on cinder paths through woodland which then opens up to give some excellent views of north Notts. We descend to Mill Lakes for a coffee break before a gradual but steep climb back into the country park and lunch in the hotel gardens.
