Overview

Starting from Baslow Nether End we walk into the Chatsworth estate climbing on good tracks through the woods past the Hunting Tower and Emperor Lake to come out onto Rabbit Warren. We will traverse through Hell Bank Plantation to walk along a level track to Fallinge then descend by Smelting Brook through Rowsley Wood to Rowsley. From Rowsley we will climb through Rowsley Moor Wood across Carlton Pastures to Edensor, returning to Baslow through Chatsworth Park.

Mainly good paths and tracks just one narrow section with care to step over tree roots.
