A walk across downland from Cheesefoot Head to Cheriton and back. This walk offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, and visits a delightful church curiously situated on an old long barrow mound (possibly).
The footpaths are generally very good with only one style and one narrow kissing gate to negotiate. Nevertheless, please wear sturdy walking shoes or boots and bring waterproofs as this upland area can be windy. Bring a packed lunch.
Please contact the walk leader no later than the day before to join this walk.
