Chinley

A 5 mile walk from The Old Hall Inn, Whitehough near Chinley.  The route will follow the old tram line down to the canal basin at Buxworth.  From there we will climb out of the valley up Milton Road before joining the path that runs along the side of Eccles Pike ( avoiding the climb to the final 80 mts to the very top).  We will then drop down to Chapel Milton and then follow the upper section of the tramway back to the old hall.

There will be an optional pub lunch after the walk at The Old Hall Inn.  

Parking is available at the pub.
