BOOKING ESSENTIAL
Starting at Chorlton Green we follow Chorlton Brook to the River Mersey, then on to Chorlton Waterpark, Southern Cemetery, West Didsbury and return via the Fallowfield Loop. Southern Cemetery is the largest in the UK and has a number of famous people buried there and a couple will be passed on our route through the cemetery. Risk assessment: A flat walk through urban and rural environments. The urban walking is on pavements. Some busy road crossings at traffic lights.
Please check with the walk leader if you wish to bring a dog. Please inform the walk leader of any health issues they should be aware of.
Parking opposite the Bowling Green pub. Chorlton Metrolink station is 0.8 miles to the start point.
