We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A delightful walk taking in varied views and environments, and avoiding muddy paths and tracks. We'll be starting at The Bold Dragoon pub in Weston Favell Village and walking through the village to Weston Mill. From there we shall walk a circuit of The Washlands and make our way to Workbridge where we shall have a short break. Refreshments will be available here as well as toilet facilities. Then we'll make our way back to Abington Park and our starting point at the Bold Dragoon.
Many walking paths are still saturated making walking challenging. This walk will be on firm paths and tracks. Neither are there stiles or cattle to contend with. Although we shall be walking through some urban environments, there's lots of interesting things to see en route. We'll be making a refreshment break at Workbridge and there is the opportunity to have lunch at The Bold Dragoon after the walk. Parking is available at The Bold Dragoon for those staying for lunch. Otherwise there is on road parking in the vicinity.
