A pleasant walk from Cramond Village along the River Almond to the falls and back. Then a walk along the beach and prom towards Silverknowes. We then head slightly uphill to reach Lauriston Castle with it's beautiful grounds. We return to Cramond on a high level path with lovely views over the Forth and towards the Ochil Hills (weather permitting).
If you would like to join us, please contact the Walk Leader to book a place in advance, noting that for some walks places may be limited. Please advise the walk leader of any issue that may affect your ability to complete the walk; if you intend to travel independently to the start of the walk, and/or if you are willing to drive/car share from the meeting point.
Also, if you have one, please remember to bring your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card with you; or, a note of your proposed emergency contact name and number.
As conditions underfoot can vary, stout walking shoes/ boots, gaiters and walking poles, if you use them, are recommended.
Please note that, unfortunately, we don’t accommodate dogs on our walks. Guide Dogs are welcome.

Meet at Pentland View Car Park 09.20 for departure 09.30 Accessible by Lothian Bus Service 44, using Pentland View Court Bus Stop. Car share is available to the start point.
Cramond Beach Car Park , Cramond Village. From Barnton junction follow signs to Cramond. Follow Whitehouse Road and turn left into Cramond Glebe road at sign for beach and Kirk. Car park at end of road on the right.
