We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk starts by walking up the north side of Cissbury Ring and walking west to Lions Bank to join the South Downs Way heading south past Steyning Bowl. We then descend to Lychpole Bottom and Canada Bottom before zigzaging up the side of Cissbury Ring and returning to the start. An undulating walk, mostly but not all gentle ascents and descents but plenty of them. 900 ft of ascent and descent. Good paths. Sticks advised. Please BYO coffee/snack stop and packed lunch. This walk will not take place in the rain. This walk is accessible by no 23 metrobus from Worthing , get off at May Tree Avenue and walk to the start,
