We are the Plymouth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Catching the 10.24 Gunnislake train from Plymouth Station(10.27 Devonport etc) to Bere Ferrers where the walk begins. Through fields, woods, and lanes admiring the Daffodils on the banks and walls along the way and down towards the River Tavy . There and back detour to Lopwell Dam for picnic lunch and exploring before following the waterside from Gnatham Quay back to Bere Quay via the playground and the Old Plough Inn . A walk back up through the village to look around the old station before catching the train back to Plymouth @13.40 or 15.40 depending on weather and how much time we spend in the pub!
Expect mud along the waterside paths and possibly through fields weather dependent.

Meet at Bere Ferrers station @ 10.42 if you want to travel by car, otherwise at Plymouth or intermediate stations on the Tamar Valley line. Let W L know if you're joining the walk at Plymouth or Bere Ferrers.
