Overview

This will be a gentle 4 mile walk to whet our appetites before a picnic lunch and carol singing (with orchestra), now a Plymouth Ramblers tradition. There will also be a longer, more strenuous walk alternative.

We will walk from Clearbrook to the leat, and follow it down to Leighbeer, where we pick up either the cycle path or the riverside path (depending on weather conditions), then back to Clearbrook village hall for carols and conviviality with a roof!

The route involves open moorland, good tracks, and country lanes, with one or two (optional) stiles and the possibility of mud.

Christmas jumpers and hats welcome.
