Overview

Part of this walk is varied countryside away from the sea and part with cliffs and bays and maybe views of Welsh mountains and hills.

From Clevedon the walk goes inland over Castle Hill, through woods to Walton in Gordano, and on to Walton Common.

The return part is on the coast path, past Charlcombe Bay and several more beaches and bays.

The ascents are well spaced out. The coast path has some parts next to cliffs, and small footbridges with rails.
