Overview

Meet at the Acland Memorial Hall car park from where the walk starts. The route follows paths, tracks and minor roads, generally down hill to pass Westrop Wood, Green and West Wood.  Then on to Boar's Hole Farm and Round Hill Wood, before heading up hill to Grimsbury Castle and Fort.  The walk then follows minor roads to Money's Allotment and footpaths to Bucklebury Alley before returning to Cold Ash.

The number of walkers is unlimited, but please book the walk using the link below by 8am Saturday 21 February. (Pleas note: a later booking time is being allowed for this walk only, as it is being advertised later than usual.)

Also please bring a snack and a drink for a mid walk break.  With the recent rainy weather there will be mud and puddles, so wellington boots would be useful.
