Overview

Search for Vikings and Romans - good paced walk along the Lincoln Ridge, sadly we didn't meet either on the way when recceing!

Good surfaces but uneven at times, plenty of views, interesting houses etc, sloes to flavour your gin, no stiles though and no nettles so safe for shorts.  Some hillier bits but nothing drastic - we're staying on the ridge.

Parking near the Tempest pub in Coleby, there's parking for several cars there and also more nearby. Meet alongside the triangular green - it has two benches and is within sight of the pub- which should be open on our return!
Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
