We are the Mortimer Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circuit from the impressive White Castle using sections of the 3 Castles Walk, linked by Upper Green and Wayne Green. Quiet lanes and field paths. A leisurely paced undulating walk, to appreciate the scenic countryside of Monmouthshire and splendid views of the surrounding hills including the Black Mountains. Hoping for blue skies and sun!
Optional visit to the Red Castle tea shop after the walk.

White Castle Car Park (limited spaces) NP7 8UD. South from Hereford on the A465, turn left from the dual carriageway near Abergavenny onto the B4521, signed to Skenfrith. The right turn to White Castle is in about 5 miles and is signed. This is a narrow lane with passing places.
