Overview

A roller coaster walk, from the highs of Ipstones Edge to the low of the Churnet valley near Froghall.

From Coombes Vallet nature reserve, the route first climbs to Ipstones Edge for views across to Revidge, then through Foxt and Whiston before dropping into and out of the Churnet valley towards Kingley Holt. Then it return to the Churnet and follows the railway line to Consall station and the Black Lion before climbing again up the Devil's Staircase and into Ipstones village. Finally it returns through the nature reserve.
