Overview

 The walk passes through woodland, across open fields with sweeping views of the Hertfordshire countryside and several picturesque villages. Some parts may be muddy after rain and there are some short stretches of lane walking.

Meet outside cafe on west side of Welwyn North station. The train from London arrives at 10.35am ( although check details on the day) so we shall start walk at 10.40am. There is a car park at the station , although you have to pay on Sundays.  Free road parking is available in the village around the station.
