Join us for an evening walk around the Craig Phadrig woods. Starting from the car park, we'll walk along the main track before turning off onto some of the smaller paths. We'll pass some swings and then make our way up the wee hill from where (in daylight) you have a great view of the Beauly firth and Ben Wyvis. This will be a leisurely walk and a great opportunity to come and meet the group if you haven't yet been out with us.
The walk will be in the dark so a good head torch or flashlight is essential.
Under 18s welcome with a responsible adult. Dogs kept on a short lead welcome (please inform the walk leader in advance if you're bringing a dog)
Please sign up by contacting the walk leader at least 7pm the day before.
The walk is on forest tracks and paths, with some steep sections. Sturdy footwear is recommended, and dress according to the weather, don't forget hat and gloves (it's only February still). It's likely to be wet and muddy.
There will be no organised car sharing to the walk, however get in touch if you need transport and I will ask if anyone's going from your direction. The area is served by buses no 2 and 3 with the closest bus stop being Balnafettack Road (steep uphill from the bus stop to the starting point, along a dark road).
