This is another evening walk starting from the Craig Phadrig car park. This time we'll head south, initially walking along a road to then break off on a forest track towards Craig Dunain. After a while we will turn left and follow the Great Glen Way for a bit towards Inverness, before making another left turn along Leachkin Road and then another to head back up to the car park and the end of the walk. This will be a leisurely walk and a great opportunity to come and meet the group if you're new.
The walk will be in the dark so a good head torch or flashlight is essential. As the walk is partly along roads, some reflective material such as a high viz vest is essential and you will not be allowed to join the walk without it. I have a few extras to lend, please ask about this when you sign up if required.
Under 18s welcome with a responsible adult. Dogs kept on a short lead welcome (please inform the walk leader in advance if you're bringing a dog)
Please sign up by contacting the walk leader at least 7pm the day before.
The walk is along roads and tracks and trainers are acceptable. It is likely to be muddy and wet if it has rained. Please dress according to the weather, bearing in mind that it can still be cold in early March.
There will be no organised car sharing to the walk, however get in touch if you need transport and I will ask if anyone's going from your direction. The area is served by buses no 2 and 3 with the closest bus stop being Balnafettack Road (steep uphill from the bus stop to the starting point, along a dark road).
